In case you’re just catching up, we have been under a bit of a time crunch to build an entirely new M7 Drive Energy Drink/Nexen Tire S14 chassis before Formula Drift Round 7 on October 12-13, 2012. This has been going on for a few weeks and now we are finally wrapping up the build.
Last you heard, the engine and transmission were installed. Since then, all mechanical systems have been set up. This includes some cool parts:
Mishimoto Cooling System, with a Mishimoto radiator, oil cooler, and power steering cooler.
EBC Brake System with EBC rotors and EBC yellows as brake pads.
Feal Suspension System using Feal 441 Coilovers and new Battle Version arms including new lower control arms for greater adjustability.
All of these systems now supplement the transmission with Clutch Masters clutch and the LS2 motor built by CBM that was salvaged from the previous car. We also used radiator and intake hoses from HPS Silicone Hoses.
After everything was put back together, 702 Graphics installed the vinyl to give the car a facelift.
We finally started the car and even took it out to Adam’s Motorsports Park and Willow Springs International Raceway for testing and tuning. The M7 Drive Energy Drink/Nexen Tire S14 is ready to make its competition debut at Formula D Round 7 in Irwindale, CA, so come stop by and say hello at the final event of the season!

Hell yeah! Kill ‘em dude!
